The old school
The old school was bought by the city council of la Baronia de Rialb, and was then restored, during the 90's, to become a rural lodging. This was due to revitalize the area- economically and socially.
It was constructed as a primary school and it closed down during the 70's.
Between the years 1963 and 1964, the scholastic redistribution of Catalonia was done and every rural zone ended without students.Since then, there's no school at el Puig.
Today, it remains the memories of the village of del Puig: around the square, Cal Caelles, Cal Médico, ... even a small hotel that had lodge travellers in the past. At the back, the church of San andreu, and in the front, in the square, the School of the village.
