Visiting Ponts
In the village of Ponts you can find a medieval castle declared Spanish historical heritage. This monument is located in the highest part of the village and regardless of its ruinous aspect, there is no doubt that one hast to visit it to understand the living history that it contains.
On the other side, "La canónica de St. Pere" with romanesque lombard style, that belongs to and old monastery, is totally restored and has a great cultural interest.
In the municipality of Ponts it passes a GR, that comes from the dam of Moià, through the Solsonès, ending at Tàrrega.
- Ideal village for the practice of all kina of adventure sports, and to take advantage of the river Segre to practice rafting, canoeing, climbing or canyoning (Forat del Buli, veru near the house)...
